Watch This: Jay Z Pays Stunning Tribute To Chester Bennington With ‘Numb/Encore’ Performance At V Festival

Jay Z

The recent passing away of Chester Bennington shook the world to its core. The Linkin Park frontman, who committed suicide after struggling from depression left fans and fellow artists saddened around the world. As millions of people and the band themselves paid tribute to the iconic artist, Jay Z decided to pay his respects to the late singer during his only European stop of 2017.

Performing at V Festival in the UK this past weekend, the hip-hop legend ended his set with a rare, coveted performance of ‘Numb/Encore‘. A true fan favourite off the 2004-released collaborative album Collision Course between Jay Z and Linkin Park, the ‘99 Problems‘ hitmaker asked the crowd during his set “Can you guys light it up tonight for Chester?” before saying “Linkin Park, one time, tonight. Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight!”

You can relive the live performance below.
