It’s an extremely sad day for music fans around the world. As reported by TMZ, Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has passed away at the age of 41. The legendary vocalist was found hanging at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A on Thursday morning.
Having joined Linkin Park in the late 1990s, the legendary outfit is renowned for delivering multiple stellar albums including Hybrid Theory, Meteora and more. Their most recent album One More Light was released in May this year. Moreover, Chester was known to be very close with late Chris Cornell, who himself committed suicide by hanging in May. Co-incidentally, today would have marked Cornell’s 53rd birthday.
Our hearts go out to Chester’s family and friends.
