Interview With Alesso!

Swedish dance music sensation Alesso has risen up the ranks in steady fashion to be reckoned as one of the biggest acts in recent years! The “Years” hitmaker has not only impressed fans with his exceptional productions, but has also left the audience awestruck every single time with his powerful live performances. As Alesso gears up to make his highly awaited return to India this weekend, we caught up with the stellar act to talk about his latest single, his headlining performance at Budweiser presents EDC India and much more!

TBB: Hi Alessandro, thanks for taking out the time to speak with us. How are things?

Alesso: Great. Never better 🙂

TBB: The wait has been real. How does it feel to be back in India after such a long span?

Alesso: I’m excited to be coming back to India. It’s been too long.

TBB: You recently released your track “Take My Breath Away” with Dillon Francis. Can you tell us a bit about the track?

Alesso: It was fun working with Dillon. I was living in LA at the time and we just got together one day. Stayed in the studio for hours working and next thing you know the track was born. It felt natural and that’s always an amazing feeling.

TBB: What can we expect from you in the near future? Any new productions that you’re working on?

Alesso: Fans can surely expect new music very soon!

TBB: You released your debut album ‘Forever’ last year. How different was the creative process of writing an album, as compared to a single? Will we see more Alesso albums in the coming future?

Alesso: Creating a body of work like an album is definitely being in a different headspace than just putting out a single. But ‘forever’ was my first and I’m so proud of it. You’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store for 2017…

TBB: You started out as a 19 year old, and now are one of the biggest names in the world of dance music. How has your journey been?

Alesso: My journey from when I started up until now has been unreal. I’m so lucky and so blessed to have the career that I do and I owe all of that to my amazing fans.

TBB: You recently built a whole new show for your Greek Theatre gig in September. How was the whole experience of playing a solo show at one of the most iconic venues around the world?

Alesso: Playing the Greek Theatre in LA was a huge milestone for me and one I’ve always wanted to do. The show turned out even better than I ever could have imagined.

Alesso: Just have fun and throw a massive dance party!
