One of dance music’s biggest female stars, Alison Wonderland has been absolutely crushing it in recent years with her innovative productions and eclectic live performances! Having become a staple act within the bass music community, the Australian talent initially made a huge splash with her debut album ‘Run‘ in 2015. And now she has finally returned with her brand new original ‘Happy Place‘.
Co-produced by fellow talents Lido and QUIX, the anthemic new track is more than just another festival-ready banger. Led by her powerful vocals, the track is an attempt to find a ‘happy place‘, as Alison tells Triple J. Shedding light on the story behind her latest creation, she said:
“This was when I was in a super dark state of mind; you’re so in your own head there’s some pretty terrible choices you could make and I decided to make the choice to reach out to my friends… They ended up bringing me out of that and saving me.”
A truly wonderful, yet equally hard hitting track which arrives as the first single off her forthcoming album Awake, listen to ‘Happy Place‘ below.
