Now how often do you see this happening! While we’re aware of Airbnb which manage to offer tourists with temporary residences, we usually don’t tend to fiddle around much with its original purpose. But since it’s 2017, we are prepared to take in any piece of news with relative ease. And with that in mind, it looks like these tourists in Canonbury couldn’t wait to throw a party as they turned their Airbnb into a makeshift nightclub.
Set up with a DJ, bouncer and professional sound system, the residents issued tickets to the party which was carried out inside the one-bedroom flat. As it also ended up drawing a 200+ crowd that spilled into the street, one neighbor complained saying: “It sounded like Fabric was upstairs. It was just the constant bass thud. We saw one guy carrying in DJ equipment”. Another resident described what took place the past night: “It was like a football crowd. It was the worst night ever. I could hear the music louder than if I was playing it in my own living room.”
As the situation got out of hand, locals were forced to contact The Town Council as the happenings failed to come to an end as the party carried on well past midnight. While the police was forced to get involved due to the massive crowd size, the entire ordeal came to an end at roughly 4:30 am.
