Major Lazer have been super busy in 2017! Not only have they been rocking festival mainstages and dominating airplay with their recently released Know No Better EP, but have also managed to dish out heavyweight collaborations with the likes of Nicki Minaj, PartyNextDoor and Wizkid in the past nine months. And now fresh off dropping ‘I Wanna Be Free‘ with Indian rapper Badshah which might have turned out to be a huge miss for the masses, the Diplo-led outfit continues to keep fans on their toes.
During the latest episode of Lazer Sound on Beats 1, the Mad Decent boss man premiered an untitled new track from Major Lazer which features pop star Lorde and famed dancehall artist Vybz Kartel. A short preview which surely sounded like a certified hit, the forthcoming effort sees Major Lazer channel their reggae roots as the ‘Royals‘ hitmaker hops on the infectious, tropical beat alongside Kartel. As Diplo cut off the proceedings mid way saying “We cannot let that one escape yet.“, it seems like the track might be definitely on its way for an official release in the near future.
