Steve Angello Confirms New Album Set To Release In 2017

Swedish House Mafia may or may not be reuniting in 2017, but Steve Angello sure has a busy 2017 ahead of him. Having released his debut studio album ‘Wild Youth‘ in January this year to to critical acclaim, the Swedish maestro has announced he has a new album coming in 2017.

Taking to the final episode of his BBC 1 Residency, the ‘Remember‘ hitmaker announced his plans for 2017, which include the release of the follow up to ‘Wild Youth‘. Angello had previously revealed there were about 80 tracks that did not make it to his debut LP, so we can only assume a lot of the previously unfinished music will make it to the upcoming album in a more coherent form.

During the end of his mix, the Swede said:

I’m going to be taking a break from Radio 1 next, as I’ve got a pretty busy 2017 planned. This is probably a good time to announce that there’s a new album coming. It’s almost done. So next time you hear from me, it’s gonna be a lot of hearing.
