English Indie Rock Band Alt-J To Headline Vh1 Supersonic 2018

If Vh1 Supersonic‘s announcement of Major Lazer as the first headliners of the festival in 2018 wasn’t enough for you, they already have one more. After announcing the dancehall trio as the headliners last week, Vh1 Supersonic have announced English indie rock band Alt-J as the second headliners for the festival’s 5th edition.

The three member band, which consists of Joe Newman, Thom Sonny Green and Gus Unger-Hamilton, is known for their distinct sound which blends indie rock with electronica elements. Alt-J previously toured India in 2015, where they headlined Emerge Festival (another Viacom18 property) in Bangalore, while playing arena shows in Delhi and Mumbai. The band is widely known for their hits such as ‘Tessellate’, ‘Fitzpleasure’, ‘Hunger Of The Pine’, ‘Taro’ among many others, and are currently on tour in support of their third album, ‘Relaxer’.

Vh1 Supersonic is set to return to Pune from 9-11 February, 2018.
