The past three months have been extremely tough for Linkin Park and their fans around the world. Following the sudden death of the band’s frontman Chester Bennington which sent shockwaves throughout the music industry and the rest of the world, his friends and family and die hard fans continue to try and recover from the loss. As the band now gears up to celebrate the life of Chester with a special tribute concert which is set to take place later this month, they have released the long awaited Carpool Karaoke episode which was shot a week before the singer’s tragic death.
Hosted by actor/comedian Ken Jeong, the 23-minute long episode sees band members Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn have loads of fun together while singing along to some of the band’s biggest hits including ‘In The End‘, ‘Numb‘, ‘Talking To Myself‘, and also dish out covers of tracks like Outkast’s ‘Hey Ya’, Red Hot Chili Peppers’s ‘Under The Bridge’, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ and Aerosmith’s ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing‘.
