Alt-J have unveiled their latest single ‘Adeline‘ off their upcoming third studio album Relaxer. Set to be released on June 2, the UK-based band have already treated fans to two other cuts from the LP including ‘3WW‘ and ‘In Cold Blood‘.
With their newest track, the band seems to deliver a highly textured product which builds up steadily right from the moment you press play. Atmospheric melodies continue to layer on top of each other as Joe Newman guides listeners towards a complex, yet haunting landscape. As per the indie rockers, the track recounts the story of a Tasmanian devil who “falls in love with a woman as he watches her swim.”
