One of India’s most exciting bass music acts, New Delhi-based producer Stomp has been steadily making a name for himself courtesy his exploratory take on drum n’ bass. And for his latest release, the rising talent has shared his first EP of 2018. Titled ‘Primal‘, the three-track effort turns out to be a massive step-up in terms of his musical showcase. And as far as junglists are concerned, they are surely in for an incredibly satisfying trip.
Led by the jungle-influenced ‘Composure‘, the opening tune holds its ground throughout the proceedings as it deep dives into darker territories with each passing second. Next up is the titular cut which takes the cake as arguably, the EP’s most exciting effort. A deep, rumbling production work which is highlighted by its hectic, yet compact styling, ‘Primal‘ is finally followed by ‘Shadows‘ whose stunning mix of hard and razor-sharp sounds manages to steal the show once again.
