Originally formed in 1997, Bandish Projekt continues to remain at the forefront of the electronic music scene in India. Having spread their signature Indian-influenced sounds throughout the globe, the now solo project of Mayur Narvekar hasn’t slowed down even a bit to showcase his newer works. And now following up to the success of his recent Katal Kalaa EP, the renowned Mumbai-based act is back with his latest single, ‘Ab Na Jagao‘.
A liquid funk direction which the veteran act seems to take on for his latest track, the artistic piece has been composed in one of the many ragas that exist within Indian classical music, namely Bhairav. Accompanied by a standout vocal effort courtesy Vidhya Gopal, Mayur treats listeners to a mysterious space led by deep basslines and soulful melodies.
