UPDATE: Pendulum have uploaded a video on their Facebook page, which confirms the return of the group in the summer, with a possible show in London.
When Pendulum headlined Ultra Music Festival in 2016, its huge fan base went berserk at the group returning after four years of silence. Save for a grainy image proclaiming their return in 2016, we’ve not heard much from the band… till now. Taking to their social media channels, they’ve released a more formal announcement towards the return.
The new cryptic video contains stock footage which shows parks and streets in Europe. A specific mailbox is shown with the phrase “Monday to Friday 6:30 pm,” most likely referring to the mail collection times. But with every second of the video up for discussion, it is hard to believe the information was included without some kind of significance to Pendulum’s reunion.
There is also a new website which has the teaser being played continuously in the background and asks people to sign up with their email addresses for further updates.
