The Canadian independent label Monstercat is known for fresh, modern sound and with the latest release, they are only strengthening that notion about them. “Roller Coaster” by two American DJs and producers, Dirty Audio and Max Styler is a cool new tune which blurs the line between Trap and Dubstep. Known for their bass-heavy sound, Dirty Audio and Max Styler have delivered compelling singles and collaborations on a variety of labels including Dim Mak, Mad Decent and Monstercat.
Aptly titled, “Roller Coaster” will take you on a bumpy ride. Starting with lush chords and vocal chop melody, the first drop moves softly with dynamic saw chords and punchy drums. After a short breakdown, a surprise second drop gets all heavy and screechy with Dubstep wubs. The blend of melodic and bass-heavy elements is very pleasing. This track knows how to take you up in the air, but it also knows how to hit you in the face with that heavy sound!
