Season 2 Unveils New Twists in Twisted Metal
In the latest season of “Twisted Metal,” the enigmatic character Calypso, portrayed by Anthony Carrigan, extends an invitation to all assassins, vigilantes, and thrill-seekers of the fractured nation to compete in a destructive driving competition. The stakes are high with a promise that the victor will see their deepest desire fulfilled.
The footage unveiled gives a brief glimpse of Axel, the character who is part man, part machine, transforming into his formidable War Wheel state.
Introducing Mayhem: A Fresh Face in the Chaos
This season also marks the introduction of Mayhem, a character brought to life by Saylor Bell Curda. Mayhem is a product of the chaotic, post-apocalyptic environment and is referred to as one of the “apo-babies” by the series. She navigates a world she’s only ever known, marked by its ruin and disarray.
Amidst his own plot developments, John finds companionship with his sister Dollface, necessitating the introduction of a new character for Quiet to interact with. As Beatriz explained in our feature on “Twisted Metal Season 2,” Quiet assumes the role of the “cool aunt” to Mayhem, guiding and mentoring her.
Beatriz describes Mayhem as a challenging yet cunning teenager. “She’s a little piece of shit,” Beatriz candidly shares. “She’s a smooth talker and constantly lying. Being a teen in this dystopian world, she’s adapted to survive. Quiet recognizes her potential. She’s intelligent, a quick learner, and once she’s ready to truly listen, Quiet can teach her a great deal.”
