Teamfight Tactics Unveils New PvE Mode: Dive Into Ao Shin’s Ascent After Patch 15.5!

Riot Games has unveiled a new temporary single-player PvE mode for its strategic game Teamfight Tactics, named Ao Shin’s Ascent, set to launch later in September.

Originating in 2019 as a derivative of the highly successful MOBA League of Legends, which itself was inspired by Dota Auto Chess, Teamfight Tactics involves eight players who assemble teams to compete to be the last one standing. Players place their units on the game board strategically, and these units engage in automatic combat between rounds. Riot touts Teamfight Tactics as “the world’s largest PC strategy game.”

While traditionally a PvP (Player vs Player) game, Teamfight Tactics will introduce its first progression-based PvE (Player vs Environment) mode called Ao Shin’s Ascent on September 24. This mode features a series of escalating PvE battles and bosses, with a roguelite progression system that provides permanent enhancements through the mode’s Journey Track.

CRUCIAL MECHANIC; GUIDES: Facing tough odds initially, the recruitment of unlockable Guides can shift the balance by providing new strategies and strengths! Opt for Zoe to receive random loot, or choose the exclusive Guide like Battle Queen Gwen for access to potent Items from different TFT sets!

ADVANCE REGARDLESS OF OUTCOME: Progress in your ascent whether you win or lose, through the Journey Track. The more challenges you undertake, the more powerful you become!

Teamfight Tactics: Ao Shin’s Ascent will debut on September 24 at 10am Pacific Time, shortly following the release of patch 15.5, and will remain available until the conclusion of patch 15.6 on October 8.
