The countdown has already been set in place for this year’s edition of Sunburn Festival. But before we get to it, the Indian festival giant has revealed that multi-platinum-selling and Brit Award-nominated hitmaker Jonas Blue will be making his debut within the Indian sub-continent this December. Known for his cleverly crafted dance/pop sensibilities, the critically acclaimed dance music prodigy will be performing live as part of Sunburn Arena on December 13 at Universal Square, High Street Phoenix, Mumbai.
After breaking onto the scene with his viral rendition of Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast Car’, the famed act has gone onto release several massive records including the likes of ‘Perfect Strangers‘, ‘Mama‘ and ‘Rise‘ amongst others. Thanks to his rapid rise into the mainstream that has allowed the DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist to establish himself as one of the most talented and well-rounded artists to come out of the UK in recent times, Jonas Blue talked about his debut India stint saying:
“I wanted it to be special the first time I came to India, this felt like a special show with some other great acts and it was on my list of countries to visit this year so had to get the show in before the end of the year! I’m really looking forward to enjoying the local culture and food and also visiting the Taj Mahal ! I always try and make my shows special and unique, the Indian fans can look forward to some fresh exclusive tunes and brand new visuals!”
