RL Grime has returned! One of trap music’s biggest stars, the ‘Scylla‘ hit maker cemented his position in the upper echelon of the dance music industry back in 2014 following the release of his debut album ‘VOID‘. While solo releases that have been scarce ever since, the LA-based producer blessed fans with two new singles ‘Aurora‘ and ‘Waiting’ with Skrillex and What So Not last year.
And now making his highly awaited comeback, Grime took over the world by storm earlier today as he unveiled brand new single. Titled ‘Reims‘, his latest track is set to appear on his forthcoming sophomore album which will be released later this year. A glorious comeback indeed, the track is a rich, dark and expansive cinematic experience that is ought to quench any RL Grime fan’s thirst. An ambient, future-bass influenced piece which takes listeners to higher grounds with a massive buildup in tow, the track blows up into space led by a monumental breakdown. While the track marks a shift in RL’s creative direction, we can’t wait for what’s more to come from the seasoned act himself!
Talking about his return, RL Grime dropped in a note saying:
