“Adagio For Strings” has got to be amongst one of my top 10 favourite dance tracks. It’s the kind of track one has so many memories to, having heard it at so many places. Was I shellshocked to hear about a Blasterjaxx remix? I won’t lie, it did leave me reeling a little. When I pressed play though, I was certainly in for a whole new journey. 

Thom Jongkind (22) and Idir Makhlaf (21) are the real names behind the DJ/producer duo Blasterjaxx.  They do have a unique sound, somewhat like a crossover between big room and electro nevertheless dishing out hit after hit. However, they’ve taken this classic tune to a whole new level with this brand new killer remix. Already signed onto Musical Freedom for their ‘Loud & Proud‘ collaboration by none other than Tiesto himself, this track is a revelation. It is absolute nirvana for the modern generation. Combining one of the most classic anthems with the thumping beats of progressive house, it’s no surprise that Blasterjaxx have a nuclear weapon within their grasp.
