When British trio Above & Beyond had announced last year that they planned an exclusive concert for orchestral versions of their much loved hits, most of us were brimming with excitement as to how it would turn out. We couldn’t wait to experience our Above & Beyond favourites in their purest acoustic form, and the most common questions were “is it being recorded?” and “when would it be released?”

Well, the wait is finally over, the acoustic film recorded from the trio’s life-changing show at London’s historic Porchester Hall, which features 13 stunning versions of Above & Beyond tracks with the trio backed by a 15-piece band, premiered yesterday on Thump. The show featured dance music re-envisioned in ways we couldn’t even imagine! Each song, is stripped down to it’s purest form, makes it that much more moving for each one of us.
