Here comes the preview of ‘That Big’ from Yves V and Blasterjaxx and it gives us a glimpse into the making of something legendary. Something profound, a force so unstoppable and so great that there is absolutely no turning back.
The preview ticks off like any electronic track with heavy beats in the beginning and then bringing it down a notch to add subtle piano rhythms and a little whoosh and then finally the track moves on to give an orchestra feel in a big stadium with a conductor and a baton with the beautiful piano beats. The magnificent track is royal to say the least and we cannot wait for the middle of this month for this track to drop! Also dropped on his podcast Hardwell On Air, the version that shall be released will be an edit of Hardwell’s himself.
With releases like Puzzle & Faith, this track does not disappoint whatsoever. Beginning with a powerful set of chords, one’s mood is already uplifted, and it’s only a matter of time till the percussion and bass make their way into this tune. Combined with the overly familiar snare of house music, the vocal sample “Drop fifteen in the EDM scene” appears, and from then on, it’s the official unleashing of a wild, bass-driven fury of a drop. After a positively slaughtering performance at this year’s Tomorrowland, Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are receiving laurel after laurel for a stellar performance. Seems like this phase isn’t ending just yet, though! With a remarkable hard-hitting collaboration called More courtesy Laidback Luke’s ingenious ideas, this track has received the remix treatment (no surprises there). With remixes by Blasterjaxx, Shelco Garcia & Teenwolf and D.O.D this tune has become bigger and better! Blasterjaxx use their largely recognized sound and have concocted an out and out banger, ready to take over every festival. Shelco Garcia & Teenwolf pursue the usuage of heavy drum work in the drop, altering this track entirely whereas D.O.D put lots of energetic synths in this one, which gets us moving, alright.
