Battlefield 6 XP Farming Soars: Players Slam Slow Progression, Turn to Portal Lobbies!

In less than a week after its release, players of Battlefield 6 have started to establish Portal lobbies specifically for XP farming, and there are indications that EA might already be aware of this trend.

The community quickly pointed out that the progression mechanics in the latest FPS game seem overly tedious. Although many players are satisfied with the overall experience offered by Battlefield Studios, there is a consensus that the process of leveling up is too slow. The system for unlocking weapons and the challenging nature of the tasks further diminish the enjoyment for many players.

Players are sometimes encouraged to use double XP tokens, if available, and focus on eliminating AI or bot adversaries near objectives to maximize their XP gains efficiently.

The eagerness to bypass slow progression systems isn’t new to Battlefield 6, resulting in Portal’s XP farm servers quickly filling up with eager players. There’s speculation that EA is responding rapidly as well.

As more XP farming lobbies appear in the Portal community browser, players are increasingly encountering a “Global Game Quota Exceeded” error message, which comes with little explanation. This has led some to suspect that EA and Battlefield Studios are starting to take action against these exploitative practices.

The error message has certainly hindered some players from continuing their XP farming efforts, though it’s not clear if this is an intentional strategy to curb the practice.
