Game Of Thrones‘ highly awaited return just picked up a whole lot more steam, after the trailer for the upcoming Season 7 was released just last week. However there’s even better news for fans of the show, after it was revealed Ed Sheeran will be making an appearance on the 7th season of the show.
David Benioff, co-creator of the TV show, revealed during a a South by Southwest panel at SXSW that Ed Sheeran would be appearing on GoT’s Season 7, after the makers had been trying to get him on the show for the past couple of years as a surprise for Maisie Williams, who’s a huge fan of the ‘Shape Of You’ star.
Game of Thrones has previously seen cameos from the likes of Coldplay, Mastodon, Of Monsters and Men, and Sigur Rós, and while there’s no news on the kind of Ed Sheeran‘s appearance (whether it’ll be a singing cameo or a different one), we are certainly looking forward to see the singer on screen in the upcoming season.
