The Chainsmokers dropped a tune titled ‘Don’t Let Me Down‘ featuring vocalist Daya back in February and has ultimately gone on to become one of the most played tunes during the ongoing festival season. A sparkling chill trap original rounded up by an ethereal vocal work, Dutch powerhouse Hardwell is the latest to take up the remix duties in collaboration with 18 year old fellow countryman Sephyx who is known for his exceptional and soulful hardstyle tracks and remixes.
Premiered on Hardwell On Air 266, the three minute rework is a massive festival tune worthy for mainstages around the globe. The track opens with the original buildup before witnessing a complete makeover with chaotic hard kicks and major euphoric synths taking over which blend in perfectly with the melodic original in an organic manner. A surprising yet remarkable effort by the superstar DJ, it would be interesting to see whether the former #1 DJ continues to further indulge into the genre at hand more often.
