The Dutch star, R3hab has been on a roll recently. With his versatile production skills, he has given tracks like Care, Get Up, Sakura and has remixed multiple tracks by Rihanna and Calvin Harris. His recent contributions also include remixes for The Chainsmokers‘ ‘Closer’ and Zara Larson‘s ‘Ain’t My Fault‘.
Following up after a good amount of remixes, the “Strong” co-producer drops his brand new original production, ‘Icarus‘. Led by distinctive vocals by an unknown female vocalist, ‘Icarus‘ progresses with plucky, bouncy bassline and minimal percussion. Breakdown unleashes mellow sounds of piano and synth pads along with high pitched vocal chops. The brief buildup leads to a drop similar to verse but led by vocal chops melody instead of vocals. Full of spellbinding atmosphere, this track will make you groove with its minimal nature and infectious plucks.
