Joel Zimmerman has kept us all on the edge of our seats for many months now. With relentless touring and dozens of Coffee Run interviews, Deadmau5 has kept us going around in circles, pausing-rewinding-searching for clues to unlock the mysteries of his highly-anticipated artist album. Well the wait is over, and the answer to the mystery is ‘While (1<2)‘!
The album title, in true Zimmerman style, refers to a programming code that literally translates to ‘to loop indefinitely‘. The album will release as a double-album feature with the release date slated for 17th of June. However, fans and Mau5-enthusiasts can get pre-order the album via iTunes on 20th of May, and in return get a free copy of Deadmau5’s magical track ‘Avaritia‘. With more details to surface, about tracklisting and album influences, Deadmau5 is still to reveal a lot more, but for now, we all can breathe a sigh of relief and mark our calendars with a definitive date for something to look forward to!
