After Jody Wisternoff’s remix of ‘Sunlight’, the second rework from Lane 8’s much awaited remix album that stands out is Edinburgh producer Theo Kottis’ take on the funky and super groovy ‘Klara’. Unlike the up tempo original, Kottis provides an emotive touch to his rendition with smooth beats and ethereal piano riffs in the background. Splendid string elements roll in so as to unfold the main part of ‘Klara’, while the opera styled vocals give Kottis’ remix an even more vigorous vibe. Certainly an outstanding take on the original, Theo Kottis’ remix of ‘Klara’ is now available for download along with remixes from Matthew Dear, Moon Boots, Kiwi, Yotto and Bwana, as part of “Rise (Remixed)”, off iTunes.
