Months back when Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten brought forth their collaborative project, trance fanatics exulted and apprehensively anticipated tunes to come from the newly established duo. The ace producers together unleashed themselves at the prominent A State of Trance 600 show in front of the incredible jamboree of 20,000 trance fans at Madison Square Garden in New York and when New World Punx as they call themselves released “Romper”, their eager listeners were thrown off guard by the sternly dynamic and self-motivated energy of hard trance roots.
“It is still trance but it’s aggressive. It’s driving and energetic”, Corsten explained to Billboard. Notwithstanding the reverberations of their preliminary tune, Schulz and Corsten completed a flourishing tour and have unveiled their official music video for “Romper” as a recapitulate of their sold out stop at Los Angeles’ Palladium.
Alongside the release, the duo attempts to clear the space and supply a sense of the direction for their latest venture together. Speaking about the collaborative project, Schulz elucidated, “We have our loyal trance fans and we’ll never abandon them … But at the same time it’s like, we’re out to prove that trance doesn’t have to be rainbows and unicorns. It can be fun and not just so serious”.
Definitely a track which is going to be on the list of favourites for many a trance fan. Watch the official video of “Romper” below now!
