Tiesto’s label Musical Freedom, is all set to release their Future Heroes EP that showcases releases by fairly unknown and new talents in the industry. The EP contains productions by Hix, Jus Jack, Kaaze and TV Noise as part of a showcase of what we can expect from the label in 2014, and the newest acts to look out for.
The EP begins with Hix’ Alarma, which starts off with an alarm sample layered over an almost acidic riff. The track then begins pick up with an electro house beat, with a bit of a Melbourne bounce influence on the bassline.
Next up is Jus Jack’s Stars is alot more in the progressive direction, with a wonderfully catchy, almost uplifting melody. It picks up to give a powerful drop, coupled with beautifully composed synth-work and the very same intro hook.
Third on the EP is Kaaze’s Drop The Power, and as the name suggests, that’s exactly what he was going for while producing it. This one fits the bill when it comes to text book big room. It still packs quite a powerful punch with a devastating drop and big room horns to go with it.
Finally we have TV Noise’s Yamidoo that starts off with trap beat-work and then picks up to an acid bassline and driving beats.
