The world came to a stand still after Avicii announced his retirement from touring back in March 2016. A monumental decision which brought several points to light, including the Swedish giant’s constant battle with stress which led to multiple health issues, Tim Bergling assured his fans to keep making music. And as 2017 finally dawned upon us, the man returned at last earlier last month with his comeback EP ‘Avīci (01)‘.
And now for his latest project, Avicii has teamed up with longtime friend and visual collaborator Levan Tsikurishvili for his upcoming documentary ‘Avicii: True Stories‘. Set for an October 26 release, the feature film will not only chart the producer’s rise towards the top, but also highlight the highs and lows of his highly celebrated career as a musician and touring DJ. With guest appearances from the likes of Nile Rodgers, David Guetta, Tiesto, and Madonna, the documentary will also boast of 30 minutes of the live set from his last show which took place in Ushuaia Ibiza last year.
