Currently, one of the hottest acts in the dance music industry, Major Lazer have not only become superstars over a short span of time but also continue to bring global sounds to the fore and push it further towards the mainstream with each passing day. Having already made a seismic impact recently with high profile releases like ‘Cold Water‘ and ‘Run Up’ featuring PartyNextDoor and Nicki Minaj, it looks like the heavyweight act is now gearing up for yet another successful season.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Diplo dished out on his group’s plans for the upcoming months saying:
“We have more unreleased music than ever before right now. Major Lazer has always been a summer act; we’ve always had our streaks during the festival seasons. We’re a little late this year, but we’re going to start putting out records next month into May, a bunch of new singles.”
As the Mad Decent label head revealed that the dancehall outfit will be releasing four songs by the end of the summer, Diplo also confirmed that collaborations with Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Jauz, Wale, Wizkid and Tinashe are in the works. A massive year which lies in front of the superstar trio, get ready for Major Lazer to unleash themselves!
