While most of these deals are on Amazon, some can also be found at Walmart due to certain titles being sold out on Amazon. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s available:

Currently, the most economical purchase is Ponyo at $16. This beloved 2008 fantasy created by Miyazaki was the highest grossing Studio Ghibli film in North America until recently overtaken by The Boy and the Heron, which also marks the first Ghibli movie available on the 4K format. The 4K Steelbook is now reduced from $45 to $30.

Other notable films like Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind are available for $18.89 each.

Additionally, the upcoming release of the Studio Ghibli Limited Edition Steelbook for Grave of the Fireflies can be preordered. Directed by Isao Takahata and released in 1989, this film sets a more somber tone compared to other Ghibli titles, depicting the harsh realities near the end of World War II. It has been rated PG-13 due to intense scenes of blood and gore. The preorder price is set at $23 at Walmart or $27 at Amazon, with a cover design that hints at a possible new aesthetic direction for future Ghibli Steelbooks.

A selection of Studio Ghibli classics has also been transformed into Film Comics, which were once out of print but have now been revived by Viz Media in new All-in-One Editions. These editions, which are hardcover compilations of stills from the films accompanied by narrative text, include Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Kiki’s Delivery Service. Spirited Away’s compilation is the largest at 856 pages and is currently available for $26 at Amazon, while Kiki’s Delivery Service is priced at a discounted $20 for its 584-page volume. The Film Comic for Ponyo is set to be released on July 22 and can be preordered for $30.

For more dedicated fans, The Boy and the Heron’s official art book is available for preorder at $40, releasing on May 27. Additionally, a hardcover edition of My Neighbor Totoro: The Official Cookbook will be released later this month for $17.
