Collaborative Revisions in Lorelei’s Latest Release
Nate Amos of This Is Lorelei and Lindsey Jordan from Snail Mail have teamed up to recreate a track from Amos’ upcoming 2024 album titled Box for Buddy, Box for Star. The song “Two Legs (Snail Mail Version)” will be featured in the expanded edition of the album, which also includes a version of “Dancing in the Club” by MJ Lenderman. The newly interpreted track is available for listening below.
Amos expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration in a media release, stating, “The moment we started discussing a deluxe edition featuring covers and collaborations, the first person I thought of was Lindsey to vocalize ‘Two Legs.’ Having been a fan of Snail Mail since Water From Your Eyes toured with them, it was truly exhilarating to hear Lindsey enhance the track in such a special way.”
Lindsey Jordan also shared her thoughts, saying, “Over the past few years, I’ve been following Nate’s work and have come to regard him not only as the foremost songwriter of our generation but also as a genuinely good person. It was a delightful experience to contribute vocals to this track, as it allowed me to immerse myself in the song repeatedly.”
Upcoming Release Details
The deluxe version of Box for Buddy, Box for Star is set to be released this coming Friday, April 25. The album not only features Jordan and Lenderman’s efforts but also includes a fresh rendition of “Angel’s Eye” performed by Amos’ father and sister, adding a personal touch to this expanded edition.
