Tonight, at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, SZA will be joining Kendrick Lamar as a special guest. In anticipation of this performance, she has released four new tracks: an updated version of “Joni” featuring Don Toliver, “Take You Down,” “PSA,” and “Open Arms (Just SZA).” These songs have been added to the expanded edition of her album, titled SOS Deluxe: Lana. In December, SZA launched the much-awaited deluxe version of her album SOS, named Lana. This version features tracks like “Saturn” and a fresh collaboration with Kendrick Lamar titled “30 for 30.” Shortly after its release, SZA received the 2025 Grammy Award for Best R&B Song for “Saturn.”
Later this evening, SZA will stand alongside Kendrick Lamar at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show. Lamar and SZA, who have previously worked together and were labelmates at Top Dawg Entertainment, have recently collaborated again on Lamar’s surprise album GNX and the track from Lana. Starting April, the duo will embark on the Grand National Tour, performing at several major stadiums.
