Nilüfer Yanya recently unveiled a fresh track titled “Cold Heart,” which she co-wrote with Wilma Archer, her artistic collaborator. This song is part of a group of compositions that Yanya revisited after concluding her latest tour. Marking her first release since her third studio album My Method Actor last year, “Cold Heart” offers a new musical expression from the British singer-songwriter. You can listen to the single below.
Yanya shared her thoughts on the song’s development, noting, “It turned out quite differently than I had envisioned. The original melody was very open, almost inviting any possibility, like an experiment.”
Looking ahead, Yanya has a packed schedule this summer as she embarks on a tour to promote My Method Actor. Her tour includes stops at major music festivals such as Glastonbury, Green Man, and All Points East, among others.
