Release Date Announced for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle’s New DLC
The highly anticipated first DLC for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, titled The Order of the Giants, is set to be released on September 4, 2025. This exciting update was revealed in a short preview during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 today. The DLC will be available across all major platforms including PC, Xbox Series X/S, and the PlayStation 5.
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle has been a standout title since its release in 2024, and fans are eager for more content. The upcoming DLC appears to delve deeper into the enigmatic Nephilim Order, a race of giant beings that were hinted at in the original game. It remains uncertain if Tony Todd’s character, Locus, will reappear in this expansion.
What to Expect in The Order of the Giants
The storyline of The Order of the Giants is integrated within the main game and continues to explore the ancient city of Rome. The narrative kicks off with Indiana Jones meeting a new character, Father Ricci, who is on a quest to find a new mysterious artifact.
John Jennings, the production director, shared insights about the development of the game’s expansion. “Creating the Nephilim Order, a secret society of giants descended from fallen angels, was one of the most fulfilling aspects of working on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” he stated. He explained that the DLC provided an opportunity to expand on the lore of these giants and explore new elements that the main game didn’t cover. “We have some fresh and surprising stories to tell in this DLC, and we are thrilled for players to experience them,” Jennings added.
As players venture through the DLC, they will navigate new locations in Rome, including its ancient sewers. They will also become entangled in Emperor Nero’s clandestine gladiator contests and confront the Cult of Mithras, another secretive group.
