Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 3 Set for Next Week, Will Bring Important Fixes as Well as Nvidia DLSS 4 Support

Bethesda has confirmed that the next update for “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” referred to as Update 3, will be released next week.

In anticipation of the complete patch notes, Bethesda shared preliminary information about Update 3 through a tweet. The update will include various fixes and enhancements, along with the introduction of support for Nvidia’s DLSS 4, featuring Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction technologies.

There is a strong expectation among players that Update 3 will address several severe bugs that have plagued “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” since its initial release in early December. Bethesda previously indicated in January that the February update would incorporate new graphics settings and solutions, specifically addressing bugs that hinder players from completing the game fully or from engaging in specific actions like climbing vines or navigating through narrow passages in Sukhothai. However, it remains to be seen if these specific enhancements will be included in the upcoming update.

Since its launch on PC and Xbox Series X and S, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” has been available from day one on Game Pass due to its affiliation with Microsoft, and has already attracted over 4 million players. The game, developed by MachineGames, has received widespread critical praise and has won several awards, including three D.I.C.E. Awards. A version for the PlayStation 5 is expected to be released this spring.

Harrison Ford, the original Indiana Jones actor, has expressed his approval of Troy Baker’s portrayal of the iconic character in “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” remarking that it demonstrates the unnecessary nature of artificial intelligence for capturing his essence.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford praised the performance of Troy Baker, known for his role in “The Last of Us,” saying, “You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can achieve that with clever ideas and skilled acting. He did an excellent job, and it didn’t require AI.”
