Dylan Douglas to Star in His First Movie, “I Will Come to You”
Dylan Douglas is set to make his acting debut in the upcoming psychological thriller “I Will Come to You,” a joint production by Cathedral Collective and Tripwire Entertainment.
The film “I Will Come to You” offers a deep dive into the complexities of human emotions, exploring the dangerous overlap between allure and peril, concealed realities, and the harsh outcomes of deception.
In this film, Dylan Douglas, the offspring of renowned actors Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, portrays the protagonist, Julian Marks. Julian is a character filled with internal conflicts and obscure intentions.
“The depth and complexity of the role attracted me,” Douglas commented. “I am eager to bring Julian to life and contribute to a project that challenges conventional boundaries.”
Project Leadership and Vision
The film is penned and directed by Jacob Arden, known for his direction in music videos for artists such as Elley Duhé and his short film “Sea” featuring Vince Staples. Arden remarked, “The role of Julian requires a blend of subtlety and intense passion. Dylan’s inherent charisma and profoundness are key to authentically portraying Julian.”
The producing team, including Douglas, alongside Robert Mitas (known for “Flatliners” and “We Have Always Lived in the Castle”) and Zach Mitchell, have ambitious plans for the film. They aim to create a feature-length version that further explores the movie’s principal themes.
Cathedral Collective, a co-producer of the film, focuses on creating content for both traditional and modern streaming services.
Production for “I Will Come to You” is scheduled to begin in 2025.
Dylan Douglas is managed by UTA and Mara Entertainment.
