Controversial American rapper XXXTentacion, popular for hits such as ‘SAD!’, ‘Jocelyn Flores’, ‘I Don’t Want To Do This Anymore‘ among others, has been killed at the age of 20.
XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was leaving a motorcycle dealership in south Florida on Monday when a gunman shot him. Onfroy was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police in Broward County. XXXTentacion rose to fame with his breakout single ‘Look At Me‘, and his debut album ‘17‘ (released August 2017) reached #2 on US Billboard 200. However the rapper was embroiled in a number of legal issues and controversies, including facing domestic violence charges during his short yet bright career. His latest release was his sophomore album, ‘?‘, which was released earlier in March this year.
A number of artists took to their social media to pay condolences to the rapper.
