Moombahton season is officially upon us! After a strong outing in 2017, Dillon Francis is all set to dominate the new year with a ton of new music in tow. Having previously hinted at producing a Spanish language album, the first offering from his upcoming body of work is finally out. Teaming up with Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Arcangel and Dominican rapper Quimico Ultra Mega, Dillon has dished out his fiery new track ‘Ven‘.
A hip-hop meets moombahton record which sounds nothing short of a beastly tune, Dillon maintains his playful attitude within a funky, yet hard hitting production work. With his Latin friends hopping in for a solid outing, ‘Ven‘ has only managed to get his fans more excited for what’s to come. Additionally, the LA-based producer also talked about his forthcoming project in a lengthy statement which accompanied the track’s release:
“For the last 18 months I’ve been spending most of my time between shows at the studio. My goal was to have fun, inspire myself, and make something amazing, so when I got time in the studio I focused on making moombahton records. I asked Toy Selectah to help me source some vocals and we got into an amazing rhythm and I kept writing songs. We went to NY, Miami, Dominican Republic and Mexico City to work and it was some of the most incredible experiences ever. So here’s the first song off my upcoming album…”
