Armin van Buuren is teaming up with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam unique, one-off project that will see the Dutch superstar create a special multimedia guide for museum visitor. Titled Embrace Vincent, the multimedia guide will see Armin select eleven paintings from Vincent van Gogh, who is unarguably the world’s best known Dutch artist.
Embrace Vincent will allow visitors to discover Armin’s fascination with Vincent van Gogh, where he also provides personal commentary on eleven works drawn from the museum’s permanent collection, accompanied by music from his ‘Armin Only Embrace’ tour. The music used in the multimedia guide will also be released as a separate album, entitled ‘Club Embrace’.
Talking about the project, Armin said:
“After meeting Willem van Gogh and getting to know more about the museum, I was blown away. The paintings come to life, it’s hard to get them out of your head. And I instinctively linked the paintings to music. Van Gogh is inspirational, and he certainly inspired me.”
Set to be available from the 21st October to the 1st December, the launch will also see Armin van Buuren playing a unique, one-off showcase at the Van Gogh Museum. and will be available in both Dutch and English. Check out the announcement below.
