Watch This: Odesza Attempt To Show The Charm Of Humanity In The Video for “It’s Only”

Over the top, periodic fantasy visuals have been making inroads into the mainstream industry since some time. It was only a matter of time before we saw it in one of the EDM videos. Odesza, the electronic music duo from Seattle making headlines for their performances, especially booking a spot to headline Red Rocks this year, have taken the inevitable with a video for their song ‘It’s Only‘. The video starts with ancient times and ends up in the present. It features cave people, Cleopatra, elephants marching through snowy mountains, warrior battles, a World War I skirmish, and much more. Director Dan Brown said,

“”It’s Only” speaks to something elemental, fire, water, love, but from a viewpoint that seems removed. Things happen, good or bad. So it goes. This inspired a story about mankind, all of mankind, from the stone age through our bloody past and into the present using that same lens.”
