Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike might possibly be one of the most disliked acts in dance music at the moment, but that did not stop them from shutting down their haters during their Bringing The Madness 3.0 show in Antwerp. Belgium.
Playing to a crowd of around 60,000 people, the show saw guest appearances from the likes of Afrojack, Armin van Buuren (drawing the ire of his fans), and Ne-Yo, and production on a level that would put most festivals to shame. However, Dimitri Vegas surprised fans by throwing in some classics on vinyl in between the show for 10 minutes, while Like Mike poured down alcohol down the throats of attendees.
While playing vinyl during a show is commendable, and Dimitri Vegas does prove that he is much more than a “button pressing DJ”, Like Mike’s absence during the whole duration of the vinyl set does raise some eyebrows. You can watch the clip below and decide for yourself.
