Hailing from Antwerp, DJ Makasi started his musical journey at a very early age and his first brush with the turntables blew him away. It prompted him to buy vinyl records and figure out how he could manipulate the music. From that moment on, he has never looked back and dedicated his life to music. Having lived in New York and Los Angeles, he developed a style of his own and is renowned for his unique mixing skills that have won him fans all around the world. The talented DJ has received support from some of his native country’s finest musicians and has had the honor of sharing the stage alongside the likes of Flo Rida, T Pain, Nicole Scherzinger, Wil.I.Am., 50 Cent, N.E.R.D., Ne Yo and many others. To add his long list of achievements, he has played several times at Tomorrowland and TomorrowWorld combined with much experience playing at events like the Winter Music Conference in Miami and several clubs in Las Vegas and Hollywood and knows exactly how to keep the crowd moving.
