Laidback Luke To Release First Album In 13 Years

Having released a number of singles over the years, it’s been 13 years since Laidback Luke’s last album, Electronic Satisfaction, was released. In the past 13 years he has been releasing singles and concentrating on his musical side project Noveau Yorican. Now though he has announced that Focuswill be released on November 6th via his own Mixmash Records.

This album will have multiple collaborations from artists like Benny Benassi, Yellow Claw, Trevor Guthrie, GTA, and D.O.D., with Focus first single, “Let It Go,” to debut on October 18th. Being an experimental DJ, Luke has declared that this album will have a variety of styles and will be a representation of his work as a producer.

Talking about the album, he said:

“What I love about the album is that I can say it’s real. It’s not me selling out and it’s not me staying in old habits. It’s me enjoying my producer time and making tracks that I would both love to listen to and dance to.”
