It’s not any usual day when we get to see hard trance producer John O’ Callaghan rework an old classic and turn into a proper banger. The Subculture label head recently uploaded on his Soundcloud account his version of one of the magnificent classics of hard house. The original ‘Apache’ by Belgian DJ/producers Nico Deleu and Philip Dirix remained a hit in 2007 and thereafter; released by the duo under their Starfighter project.
John kicks off his version with just the same build-up as the original and gradually fades in a breathtaking layer of pounding beats no less than a mayhem. Whether you’re in the middle of a high BPM trance set or just waiting for an intro to a WAO138 set, this spanking remix is absolutely going to blow your mind. There hasn’t been any word on the official release of the remix yet. But you can enjoy the preview below:
