Calvin Harris is no stranger to breaking or setting records. From inking a new deal with Hakkasan to being the only electronic artist in Forbes‘ list of World’s Highest Paid Musicians in 2014, the man has done it all. And now his newest achievement comes in the form of a triple play on Billboard‘s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
Calvin Harris became the first artist ever to have 3 singles on the Top 10 of the chart since its inception, with Blame with John Newman at no. 4, Outside with Ellie Goulding at no. 7 and Summer at no. 10.
According to Nielsen Music, “Outside” sold 23,000 downloads, up 51 percent, in the week ending Jan. 18, marking its best sales week since its Nov. 8 debut (when it moved 47,000), that resulted in the surge in its position on the chart.
