Electronic music Pioneer Brian Transeau better known to the Music fraternity by his stage name BT, has for years paved the way for innovation & seamless integration of creativity with music production. His sheer genius has been ominous with all his pioneering collaborations with Izotope, as he pushed the bar of making music making a more intuitive & freeflowing process. However, with the barrage of bedroom producers that have paraded the music fraternity in the last couple of years, BT feels that now is the time for some much needed inspiration. So the veteran producer seeks to reinvent the wheel, as he will drop the entire computer-friendly recording process and rely completely on organic instruments! Here’s what the maestro had to say about his decision.

I believe that a computer can be one of the most expressive instruments available to use today. I truly believe that. That being said, I think that the pace with which all of us live today has kind of engendered this idea that you can reach some semblance of mastery in 18 months by watching YouTube clips. It’s just not true. You might be able to make something that sounds like every other something, but underneath that, there’s nothing of substantive value.

His forthcoming album called ‘Electronic Opus‘ is also having a Kickstarter campaign for itself alongside a live show that will showcase all of BT‘s life’s work re-imagined and reshaped the way he has always desired. ‘Electronic Opus‘ will showcase BT’s ultimate talents as a classically trained musician and composer with a unique focus on merging technology and music production. The album would feature new hybrid symphonic electronic arrangements of BT’s greatest and most popular hits over the past 25 years.
