As the world’s biggest tech giant plans to seamlessly enter our daily lives, it’s no doubt that it will be stretching its arms into the very substantial area of our routine that is music. Just to give us a hint of what to expect from the American multinational in future, it has recently revealed the new creative project that it has been working on.
It’s called ‘The Cube’, and it’s for sure trippy as hell! Constructed by Google Creative Labs as “an experimental platform for interactive storytelling”, The Cube is an in-browser manipulatable 3D box with different video and audio tracks on each face. With six different audio and video tracks on distinct faces, The Cube will be under the control of the user, who would decide what to watch and hear by clicking and dragging the dice to display a single side or a combination of sides.
Only compatible with Google Chrome and Android so far, it is projected to initiate artists and musicians to connect with their fans in much more imaginative way that’ll surely be fun and a vivid market opportunity as well.
