Google plans to patent popular heart-shaped hand gesture!
Tech site Engadget has uncovered a patent filed by Google Inc. in 2011 designed to patent certain gestures to “signify what is important”. The patent was filed in July 2011 but was granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office just recently on October 15, 2013. The patent intends to turn hand gestures into a quick way of transmitting messages to a tech-device. In short, the “hand heart” gesture which is greatly loved by ravers would be interpreted as a “like” by Google.

As part of the video, we see Nicky being ushered through backstage before meeting Sander Van Doorn. The video then gets even more peculiar as Nicky crouches behind the decks, waiting to unleash himself upon what must be the most jaded and uninterested crowd in existence.

Armin van Buuren to incorporate Google+ hangouts into live events
Iconic dutch trance titan, Armin van Buuren will be the first ever dance music artist to incorporate Google‘s superb Google+ Hangouts into live events.
You heard that right, it seems that the man behind A State Of Trance is looking to get one step closer to world domination by video chatting with fans during his live shows. It’s also said that fan interaction will occur during his A State Of Trance 600 ‘Expedition’ world tour, and the genius will be the first artist to have done anything on this level.
Eight of the twelve shows will be broadcasted live and will give doting fans the chance to video chat via Google+ Hangouts with Armin, Markus Schulz, Dash Berlin, W&W and other DJs alongside witnessing a stream of the live show.
Armin van Buuren in respect to his video chat concept has said, “On my Google+ page, I’ve got over a million fans and that number is only growing. Through the Google+ Hangouts, I’m hoping to take the radio show to the next level and make it even more interactive for the fans. Every week, more than twenty million people tune into my show, so for these special live shows I’d like to take it one step further. Via the Google+ Hangouts, I can turn the listeners into viewers and offer them a front row seat.”
